As you unlock new areas, you will find more and more types of materials.
Because 64 materials are one stack, your bag will fill up quickly, especially after you have enhanced your tools.
Expand your bag to bring back as many materials as possible.
Even so, in the later part of the game, collecting materials in one or two areas at a time will be as much as you can do... (including avoiding error failures).
How to expand your bag
You can expand your bag by clearing Molly's quest line except the first time.
The conditions for completing Molly's quests are all to remove all trashs in a specific area.
Since the only requirements for receiving quest orders are building a house and unlocking an area, you can receive quests even with a friendship level of 1, but you will need to advance the storyline to some degree.
In order to complete her quest as quickly as possible, it is more efficient to search for and remove all trashes as soon as you have liberated a new area.
- First time
Maple makes it bigger in the tutorial.
- 2nd step
Build Molly's house and complete her quest (remove all trashes from Mt. Morrisong)
- 3rd step
Complete Molly's second quest (remove all trashes from Shell Creek after Shell Creek is unlocked)
- 4th Step
Complete Molly's third quest (after unlocking Spearfield Marsh or Khem Khem Canyon, remove all Trashes)
*Because they occur in the succession and I spoke to her after all the local trashes had been removed, I could not confirm which area was the requirement.
