Amber Isle Game

Amber Isle is a nice game.

However, there were a few things here and there, especially in the beginning of the game, that I found difficult to understand due to the lack of instructions when playing.

Of cours ethere is a tutorial, and you can basically just follow the button instructions that appear on the screen. Most things are written where you can see them.

But,
There are some points where I was like, “ How do I do that? So I'm going to write a supplement to those parts and a few other little strategies.
I hope this will be of some help to players who are interested in playing the game.
However, I am not completely sure of the game, so there may be some parts that I do not know. In addition, I am playing the Nintendo Switch version, so the screen and controls are based on the Switch controller.

By the way, there is a good detailed wiki (in English, German, French, and Spanish) on the official website. It is not a cheats wiki, but it does have character favourites, etc. Here are the links.

Let's start with the basic operations and settings.

Camera

The only instructions for camera operation on the field screen are to move the camera up and down (overhead to sideways) with the R stick.
The initial camera position is probably very close to the character, so it may be difficult to see everything around you.

Camera zoom controls:

ZR: Zoom in (getting closer)
ZL: Zoom out (moving away)

The R stick, ZR, and ZL camera controls are the same for the field, inside buildings, and on the island creation screen.

Camera position examples

Maximum zoom in (horizontal)

Maximum zoom out ( horizontal )

Maximum zoom in (overhead)

Maximum zoom out (overhead)

Vibration

There is no controller vibration ON or OFF setting from either the title screen or in-game settings.
Vibration is set to ON by default and will vibrate every time you speak, use tools to gather materials, or craft something.
If you want to turn it off, go to the Switch's controller settings and turn vibration off.
However, the vibration function in other games will also be turned off.

Sound Volume

The SFX sound in the volume setting is the environmental sound + sound effects, which stands for sound effects (the word “effects” is pronounced “fx” for English speakers). (The pronunciation of “effects” is abbreviated to “fx”, maybe obvious to English- speakers).

You can change the volume of sounds like decision sounds, footsteps, or the sound of a flowing river etc. with the SFX volume.

Permanent quest path

Check this item in Gameplay and Accessibility to turn it on and it will guide you with footprints to the quest goal you are currently tracking in the quest log.

It does not respond to quests that deliver something, only guide you along the way if you are going to someone/anywhere.

Guide to Quest Goal

Text speed

The further you go to 2, the faster the message display speed.

Long Press Duration

The further you go to 2, the faster the time it takes to press and hold the button.

Radio Alert Speed

By completing Chico's quests, a radio (notification) will play at the bottom of the screen. You can change its speed.
The further you go to 2, the faster the message will play.

If I find something else, I will add it.
