In this post, I will explain the basic system.

Saving

Auto-save only. I am nervous when the frequency of error failures increases.

Auto-save timing

•     When switching maps (entering/exiting buildings and moving out of the city to the field outside the town. Fast-traveling from the town to the field outside the town. Movement in the elevator from the back of the city down to Spearfield Swamp.)
•     Opening/closing of stores.
•     At the end of store layout
•     At the end of field layout
•     At the end of changing the appearance in the mirror

Not saved at

•     Going to bed
•     At the beginning and end of events, including quests
•     Fast travel in the field (e.g. Woodbury Forest to Mt. Morrisong)
•     Moving from a store to a bedroom
•     Moving from one room to another in the town hall

Time

Time advances from outside the town back to the town or store.

The progression is
Morning → Afternoon → Evening → Night

If you open the store at night, it will be midnight and you will not be able to open the store or go out to the field.
You will not be able to open the store at night until the story has progressed a little further.

Changing Character Appearance

In addition to the character making at the beginning of the game, you can also change your character appearance from the mirror in your bedroom.

You can change your appearance in exactly the same way as the first character making.

Clothing, accessories, and other decorations can be selected and worn from the character making screen as you progress through the game and craft items in the stylist category.
You probably need to finish the tutorial story in the beginning of the game, otherwise pressing the A button in front of the mirror will not respond (until you return 2000 ambers to the mayor?).

Screenshots

This is a original screenshot that is not a screenshot function of the Switch.

It can be taken from the + button menu. The screen UI is gone and filters, etc. can be applied.

It is not available at first, but once you build Benji's house, the screenshot function will be released. After that, the filter function will be released when you take her second quest, and the border function (which allows you to choose a logo and frame) will be released sequentially when you take her third quest.

The number of screenshots required by the quests can be taken by a button bushing.
