I recently started playing a game Amber Isle.
In a nutshell, it's "Dinosaur Crossing".
It is a shop management game where you collect materials in the field, craft items and sell them. The characters who come to the island to look at the shops are made into residents, and the desolate island is restored.
Slow life, crafting, shop management, island decoration and, best of all, the inhabitants, even your own character, are dinosaurs...
It's a game that really hits me, with almost all the elements that I personally like in a game!
There are some rough points, but this is probably the first game that has hit me so hard so far.
The slow life Game of dinosaurs is the only thing I can think of, Dinosaur Story of seasons 'Paleo Pines' and this one.

Paleo pines also has cute dinosaurs, but I prefer Amber Isle, where my character is also a dinosaur, to having a human protagonist.
I like this dinosaur game because there's a lot of love in the design of the dinosaurs (and Palaeozoic creatures).
I like dinosaurs but I don't know that much about them. Even so, it's easy to recognise the features of the dinosaurs you meet for the first time, so much so that you can tell at a glance what dinosaur is it. And quadrupedal creatures (fish and arthropods too!)The deformations are also all cute. The fact that there are even helicoprion, cool.

The main focus of the game is shop management, so of course there are products to display in the shop. These are cute, with a stylised design that fits the world view and looks like something you would see in an anime set in primitive times. On top of that, there are 3D models of everything. I want to make some 3D models like this.
If I wanted to, I might have wanted glasses as accessories.
Like in Animal Crossing, you can place residents' houses, public desks and benches, fences and lights and so on almost anywhere you want in the field. You can't change the terrain like Animal Crossing, but the residents will sit on the benches you set up. Cute.
But: I just don't think this is a game that I would recommend to everyone. In terms of gameplay usability.
The controls is a little sluggish, the Japanese translation is questionable in some sentences (I play it in Japanese), there are some error crashes after long periods of play, and there are a few minor bugs. People who also touch indie games will have no problem to play it, but if you expect a complete Animal Crossing Dinosaur version, you'll be a bit disappointed.
It's a bit like being worth the price. But for me, the game is worth the price.
It's out on Switch and Steam.
